Nach einem 12 Stunden Busride von 5 bis 17 Uhr sind wir leicht ersch\u00f6pft in Mfuwe angekommen. Netterweise wurden wir von Ken und Lauren von der Marula Lodge direkt eingesammelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach Welcomedrink und ein paar Erkl\u00e4rungen (alles Essen aus den R\u00e4umen in die K\u00fcche, damit die Elefanten nichts zerlegen, no swimming etc.) wurde uns f\u00fcr eine Nacht ein Upgrade in ein Zimmer angeboten, das wir nat\u00fcrlich angenommen haben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am n\u00e4chsten Morgen hie\u00df es fr\u00fch aufstehen zum game drive. Und noch bevor ich es zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck geschafft habe, habe ich endlich ein ganzes Hippo gesehen, drau\u00dfen, im Hellen und nah dran! Das ging ja gut los.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Package f\u00fcr drei N\u00e4chte im Dorm, zwei game drives pro vollem Tag (also vier) inkl. Essen war ein wirklich gutes Angebot (180$). Und lohnenswert. Es gab einiges zu sehen: Jockey spielende \u00c4ffchen, einen B\u00fcffel fressende L\u00f6wen (inkl. Geier und Marabus), L\u00f6wen, die am Nachwuchs arbeiten, Hy\u00e4nen, endlich ein Leopard (mit Foto), allerlei V\u00f6gel, Geier, Fischadler, richtig viele Hippos, Antilopen, eine ca. eine Woche alte Babygiraffe, Krokos, St\u00f6rche mit Deutschlandfahne, Wasser trinkende Babyelefanten, Babybaboons, Babypumbas usw. Und meinen ersten Regen-game drive hab ich auch gemacht. Die Landschaft sah innerhalb von Minuten aus wie unter Wasser gesetzt. Fanden die L\u00f6winnen auch bl\u00f6d, Katzen m\u00f6gen eben kein Wasser..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Zum Entspannen, Buch endlich zu Ende lesen und Schlaf nachholen habe ich noch eine Nacht (ohne drives) dran gehangen. Der 12 Stunden Bustrip (und wieder zur\u00fcck) muss sich ja lohnen..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
